Creating your first lesson plan

Every lesson starts with a plan. Crivo speeds up this process while keeping your decisions at the center.

Writing your prompt

Click “New plan” and you will find a text box. Write your lesson context as naturally as possible. Include:

• The class (grade level, number of students, literacy level)
• The time available (how many sessions of how many minutes)
• The materials available (projector, poster paper, lab)
• The learning objectives (with BNCC codes, if you have them)
• Any specific concerns (struggling students, restless class)

Extraction

When you submit, the system reads your text and identifies the constraints that guide generation. It organizes them by category: class profile, resources, objectives, expected difficulties. Every constraint comes from what you wrote. You review the result and can adjust before proceeding.

Validation

Crivo checks your BNCC objectives against the codes you provided. If a code does not match the grade level, it warns you. If a complementary objective is missing (for example, a reading skill that the plan also requires), it suggests one. It also detects conflicts: an objective that requires group work in a large class where groups are impractical.

Resolution

When there are conflicts, the system proposes adjustment paths. You choose the one that makes sense for your reality. If you prefer to keep your original choice, you can ignore the suggestion.

Generation

With everything validated, Crivo generates the plan in three steps, each shown for your approval:

1. Specific objectives: breaking objectives into measurable goals
2. Activities: teaching sequence with estimated time, class organization, and materials
3. Assessment: criteria aligned with objectives

Review

With the plan ready, five specialist reviewers step in, each trained in one pedagogical approach: Bloom, Backward Design, Rosenshine, Retrieval Practice, and Cognitive Load Theory. Each analyzes the plan through its lens and points out strengths and suggestions. You accept or reject each suggestion.

Saving and exporting

After review, the plan is saved automatically to your library. You can export it as PDF, DOCX, or .crivo format, which preserves the original constraints for future editing. Reopen the plan and adjust it without starting from scratch.
