Curriculum and coverage for coordinators

Crivo gives pedagogical coordinators visibility into what is being planned and what still needs coverage.

Creating the school and inviting teachers

From the dashboard, you create your school and set the name, grade levels, and academic periods. Then invite teachers by email. They receive a link to create an account and are automatically linked to the school. You can also create teacher records for educators who do not have an account yet to assign plans and classes before they register.

Review queue

As teachers submit plans, they appear in your review queue. You see each plan with its current status: draft, awaiting review, reviewed, approved. You can approve directly or request changes. The teacher receives a notification, adjusts the plan, and resubmits. The version history is preserved.

Curriculum import

Your school may have its own curriculum, different from the generic BNCC. Go to the “Curriculum” section and upload the document (PDF or DOCX). Crivo extracts the objectives, components, and skills described, and cross-references them with the BNCC. You check the result, make adjustments, and confirm the import. The imported curriculum becomes the reference for coverage analysis.

Coverage analysis

With the curriculum imported, go to “Coverage” and run the analysis. The system does three steps:

1. Exact BNCC code matching: identifies plans that declare the same skill
2. Semantic verification by group: for skills that may be covered but were not explicitly declared
3. Consolidated report: generates the final document with all data

The report shows, for each skill in the curriculum, how many plans cover it, what the last plan was, and how many class sessions were dedicated. Skills without coverage are highlighted. You can use this to guide upcoming planning.

Period management

You define academic periods (bimesters, trimesters) and associate classes with each period. When assigning plans, the teacher selects the period and class, and the system automatically calculates whether the plan is on time based on the lesson date. Late plans are flagged in the review queue.
